Jed's Travels

Jed is BFC's very own pet mini bus. He loves to serve God in whatever way he can, whether this be to take people on a camping weekend to the Lake District or transport equipment to venues, he is always willing to lend a wheel wherever he can.

Jed enjoys spending his spare time in the car park, listening to the birds in the trees and taking long oil baths while watching the sunset over the trees. He does get up to a lot of interesting activities, which you can see in the photo album below.

We didn't seem to get a lot of sunny evenings this Summer, but Jim Ormishers' Connect group picked one of those warm evenings to take a trip to Churchtown gardens. This was our first meeting with "Jed", and no-one formally introduced us by name at the time, but we found his help and contribution to a great time of Fellowship and fun absolutely invaluable. He behaved so well as we did a mystery tour down some of the lesser known Country Lanes around Southport, and he took time to rest his weary tyres while we strolled around the Gardens appreciating the great Floral display. What a great "Bunch" of people to spend time relaxing with, and it's largely owed to our new friend "Jed". Our advice is simply to be nice to Jed and you will also enjoy the benefit of his service. I'm sure he's open to your suggestions as to how he can help you too."
